If not for Janet's expertise and insights, my husband and I would never have enjoyed such an extraordinary experience in Aruba. During our first conversation, Janet patiently sought to understand the kind of vacation we were looking for. She then worked diligently to find the perfect place for us to stay and make all the arrangements necessary to ensure everything went smoothly. I especially appreciated the perfectly timed "reminder" to make sure we had our ED Card, the document required to enter the country. Without her, I would have missed this critical detail and we would have been left scrambling to get them done at the airport, which is no way to start a vacation! We’re just back from our lovely Celebrity Caribbean cruise. Thanks so much for sending the treats to our room! And of course: thanks also for the work on the booking.
It was great to be back on a cruise. There were only 800 passengers and 975 crew members! That was a little odd at first, but it just meant no stress in dealing with crowds and lots of very attentive service. Covid precautions were great—we felt very safe overall. They had redesigned the Summit in 2019 (we were last on it in 2016)—very elegant and beautiful. We stayed on the ship at the Nassau stop, as we had been before. The Porto Plata DR stop was great. The port there has a beautiful public pool area that cruise guests can use as long as you buy food and drinks (we didn’t use it ourselves), and lots of really nice shopping and food. We did a nice tour of the town as an excursion.
Oh, and we stayed at Hampton Inn Downtown/Brickell, which was also very nice and a short can ride to the cruise terminal. It wasn’t cheap, but nothing seems to be in downtown Miami in March. But it’s a solid recommendation for your clients.

We did enjoy Costa Rica. The hotel was beautiful but very very big. Like it took 20 min to walk to the beach. Massive pools beautiful service and the food was great. Really no complaints about the place except it really is a hike to get anywhere. The ocean view was beautiful and I don’t see why anyone wouldn’t go for that here. ESP when it takes so long to even see the beach. Super appreciate you!! Please let me know if I can help in any way! We did enjoy Costa Rica. The hotel was beautiful but very very big. Yes, Janet it was wonderful. Except for that missed connection the cruise was a perfect blend of sight-seeing, relaxation and great food aboard an impeccably maintained ship with a solicitous crew. Uniworld just can't be beat.

I hope all is going well in your new home.
I just wanted to let you know that the trip was fantastic all around! We are officially in love with Barcelona and cannot wait to go back. The hotel (NH Barcelona Centro) was fantastic--I'd highly recommend it for your clients. Great location right near the Ramblas (main strip), nice rooms (clean, comfy, quiet), and an amazing breakfast! Not your typical hard boiled eggs and waffles--it's a full-on spread that includes wine!
The cruise was amazing. The Epic is a fun ship--large and similar to the Breakaway in a lot of ways. The one thing we didn't like was that there was no real promenade deck to walk around except for the pool area and a jogging track where the views are blocked by lifeboats. But great dining, activities, entertainment, and spa. We met lots of really great people--many Brits and Irish folks on this cruise.
We really enjoyed Morocco and the Canaries--so different from anything else we'd done! Our last port--Malaga--was canceled because we hit some rough weather. That's the second time in a row that has happened to us--perhaps it's us! But we enjoyed the extra day at sea anyway, and fortunately Malaga was the only port where we didn't book an excursion, so we didn't feel that we missed out.
The transfers were on time, professional, and speedy. I'm so glad to recommended that we do that. Flights were also timely and uneventful.
Really, it was an amazing trip. Thanks again for all of your help.
I'll be in touch again when I figure out where/when we will cruise again! Please feel free to pass along any good deals that come your way. We're thinking Alaska or possibly a Panama Canal cruise for the next one.

It was very relaxing to enjoy in the Da Vinci restaurant one morning when our excursion began later in the day.
